The first carved through a layer of green overlay to the opaque caramel ground ,depicting prunus blossoms on graceful branches around the walls; the second of transparent blue color ,carved in relief to the front and back with two opposing circular reserves ,each enclosing four sinuous chilong ,separated by two faux lion mask-and-ring handles on the narrow sides. 2 1/8 and 2 1/4in (5.4 and 5.7cm) high
