Of rounded form tapering to the cylindrical neck, finely carved through the white overlay with a scene of a horseman whirling a bolo over his head and his hound in pursuit of a hare, an oval seal reading Weizhi above, the reverse with a scene of a young boy that has lost his ribboned hat pulling at the tether of an ox while his young friend lies in the cart, an inscription to one side reading Xinsi chun ri, ‘1821, spring day‘, all set on a white foot rim
